Island Singers Spring Concert

The concert on May 25 is rapidly approaching, and we can’t wait to share the songs we’ve been rehearsing with you! This year we’re presenting a wide variety of music, from classical and traditional music, to a bit of pop and a variety of modern choral compositions – there’s something for everyone!
Also, this session, we decided on a theme of environmentalism because of our recent discussions of our choir’s mission and vision statement. We love our local island of Manitoulin, and being Canadian, but our environment is connected to the rest of the planet. All of the pieces have some connection to the environmental concerns facing our communities and the world at large.
