Saturday March 28th at the Kagawong Park Centre in Kagawong, Ontario. 10am-4pm
Free Admission 10 until 4 thanks to sponsorship by the Township of Billings
Start your day at 10:00 AM with a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the Little Current Hospital Auxiliary in support of the Manitoulin Health Centre. Then take in the excitement of the Manitoulin Island Best Butter Tart Contest and browse the maple-forward vendor market for local finds.
Step outside to explore the interactive mock sugar bush, “Through the Ages,” where you’ll learn how to place a spile and sample fresh maple candy. Bring your skates for some time on the ice, then warm up indoors with a maple-inspired pork-on-a-bun lunch.

If ice is still in covered rink - free skating 10-4
To end the day, indulge in a maple-forward, multi-course dining experience prepared by local chefs. Seating begins at 5:30 PM, with dinner served from 6:00–8:00 PM. Advance tickets are required.

We are looking for a variety of product vendors, food vendors and chefs who will do cooking demonstrations. VENDORS MAY BRING THEIR FULL LINE OF PRODUCTS BUT AT LEAST SOME OF THE PRODUCTS IN YOUR LINE MUST BE ASSOCIATED WITH MAPLE (made from maple hardwood, reflect maple leaves, etc).
Manitoulin Island Best Butter Tart Contest Registration Form
Do people drool over your butter tarts? If so you need to enter your baking into the Manitoulin Island Best Butter Tart contest. You must partner with a local maple syrup producer. You will be expected to sell your product so make as much as you wish to sell. Your vendor table will be beside the local producer you partner with. Note: Home bakers will be provided access to a commercial kitchen to make their product so it can be sold to the public.

A maple inspired event to end the Maple Syrup Festival from 6-8 pm.
The food stylings of Chef Simon DeSousa of Mast Hospitality.
Dinner will consist of 7 courses. Each guest will also be provided with two bottles of @splitrailbrewingco non-alcoholic seltzers to sip on through the evening, sweetened with local maple syrup.
