Billings Township has banned swimming at Manitoulin Island's Bridal Veil Falls after a near-drowning and ongoing safety concerns. Mayor Bryan Barker says overcrowding has become unmanageable. Officials are now advocating for provincial and federal funding to rehabilitate the area.
